This lovely ribbon flower will remind you of the flowers you drew when you were a child - a lovely round flower in the middle of a circle of petals. These little flowers can be attached to hairpins or stuck to greeting cards.
1. Cut ribbons of each color into 9 ribbons as shown below: Cut ribbons of the 1st color into 9 ribbons of 9cm length, ribbons of the 2nd color into 9 ribbons of 8cm length, and ribbons of the 3rd color into 9 ribbons of 6cm length. Seal the end.
2. Stack 3 strips of ribbon of different lengths and arrange them from short to long, placing the longest one at the bottom. Thread the needle through the end of the ribbon strip, about 6mm from the edge. Without pulling the needle through, insert the needle into the other end of the shortest ribbon strip to form a teardrop-shaped loop.
3. Pass the needle through the loop of the remaining two ribbons to get a complete petal shape.
4. Follow steps 2 and 3 for the rest of the ribbon, moving each petal from the needle to the thread.
5. When the last petal is sewn, place all the petals in a circle and tighten the thread. Sew a stitch on the last petal, tie the thread and close.
6. Glue the last petal to the first petal at the bottom.
7. Glue a button in the middle.
